Asking this again Tongue I noticed something, when someone was looking down, the lantern stayed pointing forward (because of gravity of course) but you see the light go down. is that meant? is there like a hole in the lantern where light can go through too? or did I just discover an unreal thing

After resisting for a couple of dayd i finally gave up and watched the LP of the first 20 mins, surprisingly, imho i think there are more spoilers in the compilation thanin the LP scince it shows you stuff that no gamer showed on their LP.
Spoiler below!

Also the puzzles weren't that difficult so they weren't really spoiled for me, although I do have to say I might haven't gotten the grizzly one at first

I think they are just some warm-ups. Like the first hidden room in TDD where you just had to pull a lever.

I think they are just some warm-ups or something. Big Grin

They said that the puzzles will be complex so not sure...

Bear in mind guys that solving puzzles from the safety of daylight is a LOT easier than solving them at night, in the dark, with creepy noises emanating from the shadows. If you don't take into account the fact that your mind(hopefully) won't be operating at 100% efficiency, then you run the risk of making them *too* difficult. And that has a much worse consequence than too easy, in my opinion.

Spoiler below!
Pigs were not native to the Americas, but brought over by colonists. Could be that poetic justice that Mandus, a greedy foreigner, is conflated with these creatures.

chinese room tweets
As Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs is out in a week, we thought we'd start introducing you to various components of the Machine, one per day.

As a kind of launch celebration. You'll have to imagine all for yourselves exactly what they look like, sound like, and actually do...
Day One: Vacuum Eviscerator. "Any orifice is suitable, although ergonomics favours a vertical positioning of the product".

The puzzles in resident evil (1 - 3 ) were in my opinion absolutely perfect in regards to difficulty. It would be very difficult to argue they made narrative sense but out of the cult following for RE how many do you think cared or felt it was damaging to the game as a whole? My assumption is they would be a minority.... Also I still concretely feel that if the writers have any creativity and ingenuity (which I feel FG has although im aware TCR made this game....) they can craft a story where the puzzles DO make narrative sense. Perhaps a few of the puzzles might be a bit convoluted but none the less more damage is done by leaving these things out versus putting them in.
