@jens I would expect the installer of AAMFP to make sure both DirectX and the VisualC++ redist are installed at first-time launch. This actually happens for a lot of games on Steam. Not sure if this actually happened, but somehow I do not remember seeing this.
My computer said that it isn't required Sad So i cant download it

Bought from GOG and haven't been able to start yet. Crash error on startup. Nothing posted here so far has worked.

I've never pre-ordered a game before ... This will teach me not to do it again!

there was a bug that causes crashes with certain usb devices plugged-in the computer. Try this temp fix:

Doesn't work. It now says that XINPUT1_3.dll is missing! DAMNED! >Sad

You should probably be able to fix that by downloading and installing the latest version of DirectX for your computer. Alternatively you may be able to just download xinput1_3.dll and put it in the same directory as the executable, but be careful where you find it from.
