Steam Cloud Saving Issue - plutomaniac - 09-12-2013 I noticed that if you delete a profile in-game and exit, it is still there after launching the game again. When that happens, if you had made some game progress earlier, clicking Continue or Load Game will result in starting a new game. Steps to reproduce the issue: Create a new profile TEST and Start a New Game. Reach the beginning of the second level to create some saves. Exit the game and let steam synchronize. Start the game and delete profile TEST. Exit the game and let steam synchronize. Start the game. The profile is still there, now named test. Enter test profile and click either Continue or Load Game. A new game will be stated instead of loading the save file. The issue at the 8th step probably occurs because the dates must be wrong when steam, for some reason, restores the deleted profile. In order to avoid that, that deleted profile must not be restored at the 6th step.
