That's not the point. Maybe I didn't explain myself correctly. Smile

I was referring to the fake pictures of humans with holes in their bodies, that appear on Google Images. Most of those are montages, and the ones that are real represent other conditions.

I know that there are animals and plants with clustered holes in their bodies. But you're using a wrong word to define that. Trypophobia means the fear of patterned holes or things with such holes. When you say "some pictures of trypophobia", it doesn't make any sense, because it is not possible to photograph a mental disorder.

I hope I explained myself better now.

Scarier than looking at someone with epidermodysplasia verruciformis!

I get it on your first post. But you wouldn`t find pictures in google by typing "cluster forms" "a lot of small holes" etc, that shows that ugly stuff. So trypophobia is the Word.

No. There a lots of stuff in nature that has cluster forms, and cause Trypophobia. Look at this

For me it is the association of having maggots or parasites crawling in my skin, nesting and laying eggs. An itch starts, as if my brain is signaling my body to scratch this imaginary parasite away from under my skin.

Today wasn't that bad - could watch this thing without itching, and most images without feeling anything special. I don't have "Trypophobia", but I usually find images/videos unsettling.

;D
