Startup issues - bossfight1 - 09-16-2013
I've tried applying that patch from this link, http://www.frictionalgames.com/forum/thread-23014.html
Doesn't work. I try to start AMFP, it instantly says "aamfp.exe has stopped working."
When I first tried launching the game I was able to get an error report. Other than that I'm no closer to starting the game. I try to launch the settings launcher, no response. I try to launch the exe file from the Local Files, I get the usual "aamfp.exe has stopped working."
This is ridiculous.

The log ends shortly after setting or trying to set the resolution. Have you tried running the game in window more or another resolution to see if that helps?

I can't run it at all, I try running the Settings Launcher and there's no response.

Re-install the game to make sure the installation is clean. Then possibly experiment with turning off antivirus or similar as it seems something is blocking the game from launching.

After a long night of reinstalling my AMD drivers the game actually launches now. Don't have time right now to see if I'm through the worst of it, but this is the most progress I've made in a while.
