start the game screen is black but can hear menu screen music - Godzilla2211 - 09-18-2013 I have a laptop and i have the recommended system requirements or better so theres no problem there i also looked at all the trouble shooting guides but nothing helped. Whenever i start up the game via steam or my desktop the screen goes black and after 5 or so seconds i hear the menu screen music but nothing else but whenever i take a screen shot it takes a picture of the menu and not the black screen i have tried reinstalling it twice RE: start the game screen is black but can hear menu screen music - plutomaniac - 09-18-2013 Go HERE and follow Question 3 to fix your drivers. If that doesn't fix it, attach HPL.log file as mentioned at the troubleshooting guide.
