Amnesia: Path of Darkness - Silent Darkness - 09-19-2013 Amnesia: Path of Darkness A Silent Darkness Production You are Matthew Mollaneau, a rather eccentric inventor who lives in a castle situated at the heart of a town whose inhabitants are not always known for their kind and courteous natures. As a matter of facts, recieving threatening letters is not terribly common. But, one day, you awaken with no most of your memories gone. What has happened to you? There is a dark secret. About something you have done. And, soon, one way or another, you will discover it, in time. But will you be able to live with it? This is my first Amnesia Custom Story that I am genuinely hell-bent on completing. I have done plenty of off-side work with the HPL Editor Suite before, but nothing ever really gathered together into a releasable thing. This is going to be a learning experience for me, but I do intend for it to be a well-put-together custom story at the end, so suggestions, comments, critique, so on so forth, are appreciated. At the time of starting this thread, the first map is 99% done. It will be of a medium length, give or take, and eventually feature: -Lots of things to examine and check out -Custom Voice Acting -Heavy Coding -Careful, story-driven gameplay -Less puzzles than most custom stories -Insanity -A severe drought of teleporting naked guys -Expensive Scares(as opposed to cheap ones 83) More to come. There will be three main intended releases, each one having an extra chapter tacked on. This is for open-ended bug-testing. Stay tuned! If you're doing this in the level editor (not an image editing program) a similar (like the one in the third picture) could be achieved by:
For a more purple tint: increase blue value For a more 'pure' tint: crank red up to 1 Scripting advice below for changing colour via script: Spoiler below!
