Actually I'm pretty sure he was critiquing them because he hated the style and was extremely frustrated playing it.

It doesn't matter if it's a game or not, does it achieve what it's trying to achieve? for Totalbiscuit, it didn't. That's where he's coming from

I really enjoyed the video games being in a teenage stage metaphor used at the end of the review.
