Hello I have the exact same hardware with pat61:
Windows 7 64 bit ultimate
Graphics-Nvidia gtx 275 (Driver version 331.58)
Processor- intel Core 2 quad
Motherboard- asus p5q deluxe
When I try to run the game from Steam I receive an error 51. When I try to run the game from its launcher , I also receive 3:00000065432 , R6016 - not enough space for thread
But I already have windows 7.
Suggestions?

It seems like a steam error, try searching google for that specific error or contact their support.

I've tried to verify the game integrity ( verified) and to run Steam with Administrator rights. Nothing worked.
When I tried to run the game through its own launcher I received this error:

It's been almost a week now, and to be honest I wouldn't exactly describe myself as a happy customer.

What I said before is true. This is not a problem of the game. It's a problem of steam and your operating system. Maybe corrupted OS files, corrupted steam installation etc. With a quick google search the error you mentioned is OS-related and happens on other programs as well besides steam like for example Kaspersky antivirus which I happen to find via google search. We cannot provide support for Operating System or Steam & OS problems. Instead, search google to find pages like this for example.
