RE: Beautiful things in life - The chaser - 11-12-2013

This post is from the person behind a computer, not Dolan:

One of the most beautiful things in my life is seeing everyday the person I love. She doesn't know that I do, and it has been like this for many years.

Oh, also hanging out with friends helps a lot. And it's beautiful too to see things made in HPL2 or Blender come to life Smile

  • Composing a piece of music you adore so much that you play it over and over again for hours on end. And then never sharing it with anyone, 'cause fuck them.

Please share.

Good art.

Scenario 1:
- Summer; the warm sun on my skin
- Cold beer in my hand; slightly unsober
- Surrounded by good friends; talking and laughing
- Favourite music comes on

Scenario 2:
- That moment when your feelings of love are reciprocated

Sleep is a miracle.

  • Finding a quiet and beautiful little hide-out in a forest or park that no one else needs to know about, keeping it all to yourself (or sharing if that's your thing) to enjoy the smell of spring, warm sunlight, and the rustling of leaves in the cool breeze.
  • Cracking open your favourite books
  • The smell of books
  • Not having any homework left to do
  • Acing that test you thought you were going to fail

  • Smell of fresh rain
Apparently love-making should be on this list too, but I wouldn't know

Realizing that for all the globetrotting your older sibling does, you're the lucky one to be able to share the struggles and moments with your deteriorating mother.

I LOVE the smell of books. Old book smell is even better.

I like this thread. :D
  • Snowboarding on a smooth beginner-level slope.
  • The sound of crickets chirping as I go to sleep.
  • Mellow, chill music of course.
  • Human anatomy as well as the expressions, facially and bodily.
  • A game with friends, chillin' on Skype.
  • Oreos and milk
  • Walking through the woods on a snowy day as the storm drowns out the sounds around. Sometimes I would just sit against a tree and just watch the snow fall, daydream.
  • Visiting the drive-in movie theater, laying in the bed of my truck watching the movie and night sky.
  • Pets and their unbiased love
  • Technological progress and how fast it goes (how old are TVs, you know?)
  • The deep, vast ocean Some crazy shit in there....
