Google and some other big companies are paying AdBlocker to get on their whitelist. That means even if we have AdBlocker installed, their ads will still show.

I have some problems with some popup windows, but nothing else. Tried to modify it?

What's wrong with ads? People pay to advertise to take 15 seconds to a minute of your time?

So long as they aren't pop-up "COME PLAY AT THE ONLINE CASINO" ads, I dont mind them being there on the side of the page.

Use Adblock Edge, a fork of Adblock Plus which was developed precisely for this reason.

I also recommend using the Element Hider Helper, which integrates into it. It allows you to remove entire page elements, rather than just the images within them.

My adblocker still blocks things just fine. Are any of you using IE or Chrome or anything like that?

RE: Ads - Tiger - 11-19-2013

I know a solution: Stop using adblock.

I'm using chrome...
I know I'm not having the problem, but is Firefox much better?
