What's with the GUI? and why adding new buttons in between the original ones instead of just in front of them? (some of them are in front though)

I would love to play around with this editor when it comes out. I don't think I ever really mastered HPL2, but I certainly made some crazy things with it. Maybe once this comes out I'll get around to making an actual custom story. For now, I can only stare mouth agape at the improvements they've made..
