Dunno if you have ever used Blender. If you haven't you WILL need some fair experience to do a monster. Items and models, maybe not so much. You also need to have an understanding of the way Blender actually works, handles and how to get started.

Create it yourself. There's lots of tutorials online. Search mainly on the official Blender wikia. They have like lots.
Making an item, or just any model is easy once you know the basics. But making a monster? Dude, that's another level. Like professional level. Even I can't do that.
