Thrive - CorinthianMerchant - 12-29-2013 Quote:http://revolutionarygamesstudio.com/ This looks awesome. It reminds me a lot of Spore, one of my favorite games, but with more depth. RE: Thrive - Googolplex - 12-29-2013 Awesome. I'm very interested in the universe and how life is born. The creatures really looks like other life forms on other planets. Beautiful music. RE: Thrive - Traggey - 12-29-2013 Bunch of photoshopped google images, random stock music and some ideas. They'll have to do better than that to get into my wallet. It looks to me as if they haven't even started working on it So their dreams might be too big to accomplish.. Worst case the endresult is something clunky, with a lot of bad unfinished features instead of a few really good ones. Well, of course this is too early to call - as we haven't seen anything really! ;D RE: Thrive - Bridge - 12-29-2013 (12-29-2013, 04:12 PM)Traggey Wrote: They'll have to do better than that to get into my wallet. It's open source, and they don't actually seem to be accepting donations. Still, I think this is perhaps a little too ambitious. Best of luck to them though. RE: Thrive - CorinthianMerchant - 12-31-2013 If anyone's interested they've released a small in-engine demo. http://www.moddb.com/games/thrive/news/212 RE: Thrive - BAndrew - 12-31-2013 Looks awesome! RE: Thrive - Googolplex - 01-01-2014 The music of the game is really gorgeous. They ARE working on it idiot! -_- RE: Thrive - eliasfrost - 01-03-2014 It's an open source project, how are they supposed to get contributors if they don't promote the project and ask for people to join? In that sense it's a bit arrogant to call out on them for not having anything to show, don't you think? |
