Stuck at very first, first Infected - second.exodous - 11-24-2008

Hey, I can't figure out how to get past the first monster, he just stands at the door with his flashlight. I stayed still for 10 min and nothing. I jump up and down and he says 'is someone there' and goes to where he heard me, but nothing. Any idea how to get past this?

I'm playing the demo btw.

He should go into another cells after he searched through the cell where you are, but for some reason he won't do it now.

Try to reload from previous save game, maybe that helps!

I can sneak around him, but the door he comes through is locked. This is the mac demo I'm playing, are there different versions of it, maybe I don't have the latest one?

Ah, you're not supposed to go there where he came.

You need to go back to the room where is the dead scientist and go through the locked door there...

So I'm susposed to wait until he leaves again? I can just sneak

to those double doors? I did that already tried that, I though, and it didn't work. I'll try it again tonight.

you pick the syringe and the alcohol, run back to the door you came from, go through, mix the syringe and alcohol together (to clean the syringe) and then draw the dead scientist's blood, and insert it into the machine next to the double doors.

Oh, I was wondering why it wouldn't let me through with my blood, I never thought I had to have blood from someone from in the compound.

I'm just not used to games where you need to think.
