It's quite obvious that you have not properly played an elder scrolls game, I've played every single one to quite great extent (Minus the MMO ), and I can tell you that each and every quest contains information on where to find people/objects that you are after, you just have to read them. They usually won't tell you exactly where they are, but rather which area of a town or something along those lines. Which is simply something needed since these games have NPC's that actually walk about and do things.

I personaly play without the compass, and simply read the quest texts instead, it's completely doable and it's how I've played TES since Morrowind.

I played Skyrim to level 38. Spent more than 300 hours to explore everything. Then my save broke. The game has tons of content and I enjoyed it, but at the same time it was sort of boring. I have my "opinion" about the quest design in this game. I also ordered Oblivion for 99 cents, but actually never played it. After I got disappointed of The Witcher 3, I'm now looking forward to ELEX and Spacetime.

But we can make a deal. You play Gothic 1 & 2 and I play Morrowind & Oblivion. Then we can share our thoughts.Smile

I really don't care if you play them or not, fact is the quest descriptions will tell you where to go and what to do most of the time. Infact Morrowind doesn't even have a compass.

I have no interest in playing gothic so just, don't.

In my Skyrim never were any quest descriptions. Can you show me a screenshot? Maybe it's different in Oblivion and Morrowind... but when you don't have played Gothic, you really can't understand of what I'm talking about.

A) : Listen to what the NPC's tell you.
B) : Go into your quest log and read the quest.
C) : Gothic has nothing to do with this, I've never said anything about the gothic games and I'm simply not interested in playing them, let it go.

That's not a quest description. You can't remember every single information after thousands of dialogs. The quest log only lists up the quests, but there are no information. So Gothic has a lot to do with that, because it shows how it's done right.

But we're now starting the old discussion againSad

Might we have a screenshot of this done right? As in how it's done in Gothic. Also, I can remember what the characters tell me, just because you can't doesn't mean I can't.

RE: Risen 3: Titan Lords - Traggey - 08-29-2015

Well if you can't listen to the NPC's talk that ain't my problem~ I never used the compass and I got along just fine, how about you don't pick up fifty thousand quests at the same time?

RE: Risen 3: Titan Lords - Googolplex - 08-29-2015

I will show a screenshot soon.
Haha but I don't believe you can remember all of the information after 100 hours of dialogs. You solve one quest and gets 20 new quests. My quest log always was tons of lines long.

RE: Risen 3: Titan Lords - Traggey - 08-29-2015

I do one quest, then I pick up one more, and do that, and keep going like that. If you run around town and pick up every single quest you can find, that's simply your problem.
