Config file not working and crashes the game! - Radical Batz - 02-27-2014 So I put the stuff of a full conversion mod in my redist folder,and by accident I checked everything so it replaced my config file and now when I open my amnesia launcher, this is what it looks like! and when I launch the game it says "failed to launch config file" so what am I going to do since it replaced my config file! I don't see how replacing the game files removed your custom story files though. Only real way to restore your replaced game files is to reinstall it. Next time, be careful with mods. A mod should be isolated from the main files, but some are not made as well and actually dig into the original files.
