People are saying that Britain leaving the EU will damage the European and British economy. That is a load of bull.
They are in the same position as Iceland, leaving the EU will now leave them with more control over their agriculture, border, imports, exports and citizens way more then when they were under EU restrictions.
In the North East of Britain beside the River Tyne fishermen can not go outside of a designated amount of fish when catching cod, salmon, crabs and lobsters shutting down local businesses in the area as they cannot keep up demand for British consumers. EU imports are taking control of the British local agricultural market in fresh foods and in convenience foods too.
The big topic is how they will have a significant drop in the pound as Europeans will not buy their currency as easily as before in the EU. When Britain joined in 1973 the pound had already dropped and raised as the government was trying to use the new trading patterns in the EU. The pound will adapt with less market for the pound.
Sorry but I'm just really happy that they actually had some sense as to think about their own freedom and to be able to take back contro-

It already has damaged the UK economy but I'd say that's only a short term thing. The pound has dropped but might rise again once they actually get the ball rolling.

I already stated that the pound will adapt to the loss of its market.
