Every life grows accustomed to their environments so any non intelligent life could exist in any planet.

We are not the only ones like this.

Life is very difficult to find. Nobody knows if alien life exists or not. Nobody knows if there was a civilization before us.

I didn't fully understood what you said btw Tongue

sorry not really much in "debating" mood today, lots of school work so I admit im posting a bit vague.

But

My assumptions mostly comes from this:

Compared to other planets, Earth is incredibly beyond belief rich with resources and everything. Perfect place for living. Now look at how many different animal species we have here, billions of billions and none of them come even close to our intelligence and to the perfection our body is made. We can walk, we can swim, we can run,we can jump, we can climb, we can dive underwater, We can survive both in quite a heated enviroment as in a cold one too. We can hear, have vision (we also see a wide variety of colours) and smell. Not to mention our incredible ability to adapt.

and out of all those millions and millions of species, we're the only ones like this
How do you know? Maybe there is identical planets with identical life forms out there?
You know, scientist believe our life came here by comets and different kind of asterioids, why these same rocks couldn't hit other planets in the habitable orbits?

Life came via bacteria i think.

Bacteria is form of life.

We have already discovered thousands of planets that are almost identical to Earth. Also even if only 0,0001% of the planets in the universe are like earth and assuming that the universe is not infinite, you can calculate* that there are 3*10^18 Earths just in the visible universe (which is only a franction of the whole).

*(calculation):

There are approximately 10^12 stars in our galaxy and there are approximately 10^12 galaxies in the visible universe. That's:

10^24 stars in the visible universe. Each star has (let's say) 3 planets on average (some more, some less).

So there are 3*10^24 planets in the visible universe.

If 0,0001% of them are like Earth then:

Number of Earths = 10^(-6) * 3 * 10^24 = 3 * 10^18.

That is:

3000000000000000000 Earths

Not to mention the possibility that ET is completely different and can live for example on exotic planets like Jupiter.

EDIT: WTF? I just wrote a few lines of basic Math (probably not even junior high school) and the 5 people who were viewing the thread left.

RE: [OPINIONS] Extraterrestial life? - Froge - 03-23-2014

Yes, but they'd probably be so different from us it would be difficult for us to even consider them life forms.

e.g. Maybe stars are alive.

RE: [OPINIONS] Extraterrestial life? - BAndrew - 03-23-2014

That's right. How do you know that something is alive anyway? How does something qualify as alive?

RE: [OPINIONS] Extraterrestial life? - Deep One - 03-23-2014

i smell euphoria

RE: [OPINIONS] Extraterrestial life? - Unearthlybrutal - 03-24-2014

"Extraterrestial life?"
Sure, why not?
At least I believe that there is life somewhere.
