Five Nights at Freddy's Megathread [FNAF4 released early as usual.] - Macgyverthehero - 08-17-2014

These indie games came out in 2014/2015 and has gained a lot of popularity for it's new concept in play for the Horror genre. Not to mention, it has generated a lot of Rule 34 and Rule 63 Art.

I have some gameplay that youtuber Markiplier has of him playing the first two nights of Five Nights at Freddy's:

Markiplier also has a Let's Play of Five Night's at Freddy's 1, 2, and 3 but sadly I can't post more than two videos on one post.

Funny, I actually thought of an Idea about some kind of horror game involving robots for months, and this game comes out and scares the shit out of everyone who plays it.

Personally I have played only the third & 4th game so far. To those who wish to play the games they are both available on Steam and Desura.

The creator's website: http://www.scottgames.com

So, talk about scary animatronic robots.

UPDATE: Five Night's at Freddy's 4 has been released. (Also, I got the game.)

This game is a different type of scary. As Markiplier explains it, in most other horror games it's about "making you do something that you don't want to do," whereas in this game, "you're just sitting here waiting to die."

I know right? You just sit in a damn room and you can't go out and do anything.
Maybe that is why it's so paranoid inducingly scary, because your just waiting to see when the robots are about to come.

One way I can describe this game is a nightmare at Chucky Cheese.

the guy should run out of the room when they spot him or hide in a closet. its that easy

But then he'd get fired for not watching the cameras. :\

The game gets extra credit for not being a copycat horror game.

But yeah, it's massively ''manufactured'' (why doesn't he just hide somewhere?).

It's limited but it works.

i thought the shop is abandon and no one goes to tat place anymore. why does the place need a security guard

RE: Five Nights at Freddy's - Statyk - 08-17-2014

This game was really well designed but my only complaint is the outrageous behavior and sounds the animatronics make when they get you. The sounds they make are so silly. It's just too obnoxious. Other than that, the game is pretty 10/10 for what it does.

Will play it when i am home, lol.

And i agree statyk, but i give it a rating soon.

According to the trailer the place is still open

I did the math, and working at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza as the night security guard only pays $4 an hour
You risk your life for 4 DOLLARS AN HOUR
