Knightmare (1987 -1994) blew my mind. I was sooo disappointed when they stopped making it.

This was cutting edge special effects and the closest thing you could get to immersive interactive fantasy, back when games looked like this:

Mainly PBS programs like Zaboomafoo, Arthur, god-knows-what else because I really only watched a fair bit of television when I was too young to remember now Sad

But they were my favorites.

I LOVED Zaboomafoo. I watched that and Myth Busters religously.

Other than that, Spongebob, Fairy Odd Parents, and anything else on Nickolodean during lunch hour (we didn't have Discovery Channel at home, but anything on there could easily top those three kids' cartoons).

Should mention shows like Pokemon/Hamtaro/Yugioh were forbidden for being too violent (yes, Hamtaro, a show about hamsters, was too violent for my innocent young eyes apparently) so those always had a bit of a forbidden allure to them despite me never actually getting a chance to watch a full episode (not at all resentful of missing out, nope).

I don't remember getting more excited for any show other than GHOSTWRITER.
