Portal - Guest - 07-20-2006 This is sooo cool! A must see! This is possibly going on as an addition of HL2 Episode 2, or as a standalone game, either way im buying it! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=if3Qv2tHyfA&search=portal RE: Portal - Guest - 07-20-2006 I'm not It's a cool feature though RE: Portal - Guest - 07-20-2006 Shame on you. It's an amazing feature! RE: Portal - Guest - 07-21-2006 GOD that looks so amazing. Im pretty sure (through articles ive read) it will be a stand alone puzzle game. But it would be amazing if they brought that into the next HL2 episode. It's like the next generation of the gravity gun. RE: Portal - Guest - 07-21-2006 It was made by a bunch of university students. In a game called Narbacular Drop, Valve noticed this, and hired them to make the same for them. "if at first you don't succeed, you fail." lol RE: Portal - Guest - 07-21-2006 actually, the game does ship with Episode 2 RE: Portal - Dark - 07-25-2006 the game ships with HL2 Ep2 (allso TF2 is included) i played narbacular drop, fun game you should try it Linkeh :p > http://www.nuclearmonkeysoftware.com/narbaculardrop.html allso there is a map editor in the download section RE: Portal - Guest - 07-25-2006 Yes, narbacular drop is a fun game. I completed it. Never knew there was a map editor...ooooo RE: Portal - Guest - 09-15-2006 I will get this game trough pre-order, download content and play once it is released. The looks like tremendus fun and with endless possibilies. What I also like, is how they take portals to the limit and infact create very original and intresting puzzles. Prey also had portals but they were merely fancy doors. In Portal, your portal device (I dare not say gun) will MAKE the door. |
