Hello

I just purchased Penumbra Pack From Steam i installed all three games but when i go to play any of the i get "error vertex shader not supported please update video drivers" so i go and uninstall my video drivers completely then used driver cleaner pro to make shear there was no drivers left i restarted my pc and downloaded the newest drivers for my graphic card installed them restarted tried the game's but same problem so i went and got the latest openal driver installed them but nothing any way to fix the Very Annoying Problem???

wow so no one can fix this problem??? whats the point of buying the game if i cant even play it might just have to get my money back:angry::arrowl:

Contact Steam about it? Since it's they're version of the game...
There's more problems on the Steam version of the game than on any of the other versions!

Scraper, the exact same thing happens with the demo (though no error message appears).

The same thing also happens with the non-steam version of Penumbra, with the same error message. Unfortunately it isn't a problem with Steam Sad

Please say what graphics card you have.

This is some problem with the OpenGL drivers. Try this:

1) Download the latest drivers for your graphics card:
2) Uninstall the graphics card drivers.
3) Restart computer
4) Install new drivers.

Unless you have a really old card, the game shall work. The problem lies in the drivers.

Well i have a XFX 8800 GS alpha dog edition video card
and thanks for trying to help thomas but iv tried all that already.
i uninstalled my video drivers then used a driver cleaner to make sere there was nothing left
then restarted downloaded the new drivers installed them restarted but still get the same thing.
i guess that everyone that has a 8800 gs and gt card the game dose it to them.but iv brought this problem up with Steam gonna see if they are gonna do anything to fix it...
