The Sanctuary - patr1xcore - 11-20-2014 Hello ![]() "The Sanctuary" is currently in progress. "The Sanctuary" is going to have creepy atmosphere, custom graphics, custom sounds and music, nice mapping, good scripting and quite long length (2-3 hours). STORY: -not available yet- MODDB: The Sanctuary RE: The Sanctuary - Red - 11-20-2014 Those pictures do not refer to "nice", yet. You should spent more time with a setting called "Tile amount", and you can get there by clicking the primitive, and going to "Plane" page. With the floor you're having, between 0.3,0.0,0.3 - 0.7,0.0,0.7 are good amounts. It stretches the floor, and makes the planks look bigger, more fitting. Detail thing, you need it more: Add furniture, carpets, dirt, decals, particles, everything you think is rational to put in those kinds of enivorments. look at the developers mapping; you'll find good examples everywhere. And then there's the lighting:the light, which the lamps cast as default, isn't often enough alone. Add SpotLights, PointLights and BoxLights in the lines of rationality - you'll find also examples from the maps of the developers or other custom stories. There are cases, which need BillBoards. Good examples are windows and roofholes. RE: The Sanctuary - patr1xcore - 11-20-2014 (11-20-2014, 11:41 PM)Rött Wrote: Those pictures do not refer to "nice", yet.
