Need someone to test run, also looking for scripter and story maker! - Koopa Rs07 - 11-26-2014
Hello, this is my very first custom story and I decided I needed some help with it. The story is very basic right now so if you think you can make the story line better please tell me. I'm decently new to making custom stories and I'm not the best scripter, so if anyone can email me, steam chat me, or oovoo call me, then do so. I want to bring my custom story to life!
The custom story name is "Metus".The basic story line is you wake up not knowing who you are, as you go on you find out you're somewhere under Greenland. The year is in the 2000s. Yes, yes, I know it kinda sounds like Penumbra, then again, if you feel like you can make a better story contact me.
I have lots of Penumbra models in my custom story so the file size is pretty big, but when I'm finished with at least the demo it'll be a lot smaller, because I will have known which models are used.

Hello! I am happy to see another custom story out in the open. It may be a demo but I'll give it a test run.
Heres how I got on:
Positives:
- You nailed the athmosphere in the green fog room outside the artic level. I
really was dreading every cornor I came across in fear of a Brute
- Your mapping is really good for a beginner. I really liked the mansion level
with the big shandeler
Negetives:
- The first encounter with the grunt was frustrating and poorly built up. You
need to show that there is a hiding place in the small room. Maybe open the
door a bit?
- The second grunt was not scary at all, you need to do more than spawn him
right behind the player
- I semi rage quitted in the artic level. It was way too bright and if this is
a serious CS the peinguin remark will break ANY emersion in the game
Verdict:
A good start with the CS, just make sure you do two things:
* Build up your monsters
* Make the artic level more visible
Other than that, this should be a good CS. Keep it up!
