Ubuntu 9.04 64 bit Jaunty. Penumbra crashing before, and after menu loads. - moods737 - 07-20-2009
Hi all,
I purchased this collection of games this weekend, but I'm having a little trouble getting them to work. It's been crashing before and after the menu loads. It seems pretty random on which time it'll do it.

I saw that I need the 32 bit libraries installed, so I installed them before installing the game. Here is the command I ran:

Are you using the latest drivers available for the ATI card?
Is xserver screen depth set to 24 or 32 bit, Penumbra won't work with if 16?
Is 1024*768 the same resolution as your desktop? Try matching the game settings to the desktop resolution before running the game.
