Crash on startup solution windows 8.1 ATI HD 4800 - slim1357 - 01-23-2015
Windows 8.1 uses a driver for the ATI Radeon HD 4800 series that apparently doesn't support OpenGL. When trying to install the legacy drivers, Windows kept telling me the best version was installed.
These are the drivers I was trying to install:

Amnesia TDD is running fine now. Windows 8.1 64 bit may tell you the best driver is installed but are you going to let them tell you what do?

This is known for a long time now and equivalent advice was also being given before. As it's not a support request, topic closed.
