Which would hint that it's not actually Red, as Red doesn't appear in Black Plague.

I've played up to the kennels, and I assume something came out of those little holes in the walls and exited out of fright the moment I was attacked from behind.
But I know Red is shown in the intro, eating the heart of a dog, or something. Not good eating, because those dogs were infected, right?

I wouldn't call that "appearing". It's just a recap.
Anyway, I thought I saw it mentioned somewhere that the pic is actually the dog-person from the kennels, not Red.

Ehm... Excuse me but why Phillip would be talking about Red in that part of intro and then they show some random guy from kennels in it?

How should I know? I don't have the whole game memorized and the comment I think I saw didn't talk about the intro, it talked about the picture. Looks like I didn't remember right.
