Stuck in Overature, Ch 3 - stuckey - 09-08-2009
I'm wondering if it would be possible for someone to miss something earlier in the game (i.e., the blank note under the helmet in Chapter 3, Part 1: Davey Jones' Locker Room) and thereafter not be able to complete something later in the game (i.e., have the code to the door at the end of Ch3, Part 4) and therefore have to restart a level?
It isn't possible for me to go back since the door won't open now. I can't go further back than Part 2 since it says the door is jammed shut.

So basically I think I'm stuck. I didn't pick up the blank note, so I can't read the code to open the door, and I can't go back to get the note. Is this game over?

I can't recall the layout of the levels exactly but are you sure you are trying to go to the right place? The door to the level with the blank note should never be jammed shut as far as I can recall. There are two levels with very similar names, perhaps you have confused the two?

I never picked up the blank note. I'm now at the end of Chapter 3. I went past the rock rushing machine... and past the thing where the steam was shooting out of the floor. I used the newspaper to get the key and open a door.

Weird... I never heard that the door leading to shaft 13 get stuck. Could be a bug? Not sure. Did you try to load Latest savegame, or autosave? That might help sometimes.

Ah yes shaft 13 is the name of level with the note, are you sure you are at the correct door when it says that it is jammed?

If not, I'll, as a last resort, do an intentional spoiler. I'm replaying it anyway.
By the way, I've played all Black plague (All difficulties), all of overture, and a lot of Requiem. I'm having more than a little trouble on this one part. You know when the portal takes you to a place with a lot of chain-link and concrete, and red talks to ya over the radio? I need some help getting started....I've already put a crate on one switch.

i understand what ur syaing im stuck too.i found the note thats blank but i litteraly did type in a thousand possible answers to the code and i just cant find it someone please tell me what it is.ty

You'll have to find a way to read what it says on the blank note.
