Thank you Jens, more accurate hints can be given with such information. Wink

Just out of curiosity, Are you guys planning on offering Soma through the Humble Bundle store aswell?

If not I will just pre-order through Steam, but I've been buying most games through the Humble Bundle lately.

I'll play Win 7 x64 or Win 10 x64

Officially it supported OpenGL 2.1 but with latter driver releases it supports OpenGL 3.3. Assuming that's what SOMA requires, you won't have issues. Direct3D is irrelevant as it uses OpenGL as a renderer.

Will this have physical edition?

No physical release planned at the moment.

Just to satisfy my curiosity: on PS4, what framerate can I expect from the game? I strongly prefer slightly simpler graphics if I can get 60 fps, but I realize that this might be unrealistic, especially in light of the PC system requirements.

I will definitely buy this for PS4 no matter what.

30 fps has been the target.

Has the engine been updated to support more than 60 fps? I've noticed that, regardless of PC power and settings, Amnesia cannot output more frames, even if it says it runs at 200. I'm just wondering if I'd be able to utilize my 144Hz monitor for this.

I just pre-ordered through GOG (hooray!) and I'm looking at their "galaxy" program and wondering:

Will regular gog installs (and/or Galaxy installs) receive SOMA game updates at roughly the same time as steam? I'm curious how that might work for you as developers; if any particular platform is faster at pushing content updates. I remember with another game I played (Perhaps Legend of Grimrock?) Steam would typically get the updates pushed before GOG; I wonder if this has changed now with their galaxy platform?

Regardless; I'm very keen for SOMA; I first came to these forums after stumbling across Penumbra (and it was also here I got some speedy tech support in the form of a custom .exe for penumbra: overture to stop a crash), I thoroughly enjoyed Amnesia and the expansion Justine, and I'm ready for a sci-fi puzzle/horror once more with SOMA. Bring it on!

Hi there,

I'd like to know if SOMA will support a GeForce 330M CG which is DirectX 10.1 based, knowing that DX 11 is not supported on it. While I know the requirements speaks about a GeForce 400 Series CG, I don't know if it involves having DX11 or not so I'm actualy a bit confused about the exact graphical requirements. :p
