Having the same issue as everyone else. Can't run the simulation without crashing.
Arch Linux 4.1.6-1-ARCH Kernel
GTX 760 - Nvidia 352.41 Driver
I've tail'd the hpl.log and nothing gets appended to it during/after the crash.

We all seem to be running Nvidia graphics cards, Wonder if ATI Cards are having the same problem?

Here's a backtrace from gdb on crash. I also have a gdb core file if a developer would like to PM me I can send them a link to it to debug against.

Hi. Having the same problem in the lab when trying to run the simulation. Radeon R9 280X, Catalyst drivers, Ubuntu 14.04 64-bit, Steam version.

I am having the exact same problem on Ubuntu 14.04, nvidia GTX 870M. No problems at all until now.

I have this exact same problem with a crash to desktop on Ubuntu 14.04, nvidia GTX 870M.
EDIT: sorry, double post of the comment above from when I created account.
I made a thread asking the wider community for a save from after the simulation puzzle so hopefully someone will come to our rescue until there is a patch: https://www.frictionalgames.com/forum/thread-30723.html

Same problem on Mint 15 MINT, AMD Radeon HD8970M with Catalyst 13.20.11
