RE: Unable to start (0xc000007b) - Guest - 09-26-2015 I have uninstalled and downloaded all the x64 packages. It still doesn't work. RE: Unable to start (0xc000007b) - Kein - 09-26-2015 Do this: https://www.frictionalgames.com/forum/thread-30918-post-327091.html#pid327091 Properly. RE: Unable to start (0xc000007b) - Guest - 09-27-2015 I did it "Properly" and it still doesn't work. I used dependency checker and traced the problem to the following DLL's API-MS-WIN-CORE-KERNEL32-PRIVATE-L1-1-1.DLL API-MS-WIN-CORE-PRIVATEPROFILE-L1-1-1.DLL API-MS-WIN-SERVICE-PRIVATE-L1-1-1.DLL MSVCR80.DLL API-MS-WIN-CORE-SHUTDOWN-L1-1-1.DLL EXT-MS-WIN-NTUSER-UICONTEXT-EXT-L1-1-0.DLL IESHIMS.DLL Any ideas where I can get those? RE: Unable to start (0xc000007b) - Kein - 09-27-2015 Does the game starts if you try to run SOMA_NoSteam.exe from Steam/steamapps/common/SOMA/ ? It should not require MSVCR80.DLL, only the 10x ones which is part of MSVC++ 2010 redist, the one SOMA uses. So I assume it is the junk Steam drags with its integration. Messy. RE: Unable to start (0xc000007b) - Guest - 09-27-2015 Nope. It still returns the same dll errors. RE: Unable to start (0xc000007b) - Kein - 09-27-2015 Unpack these files into game directory and try again: http://www41.zippyshare.com/v/Ak9jExGF/file.html Still gives 0xc000007b? RE: Unable to start (0xc000007b) - Thomas - 09-28-2015 Please try solution A.8 here: https://www.frictionalgames.com/forum/thread-30585.html |
