Article on Horror and Level Design - jmitchell - 10-12-2015 Hey guys, I think this is the right sub-forum, but I wanted to share something I wrote about game design. While not specific to Frictional's games, they served as inspiration and evidence for what I tried to argue in this article- I even managed to squeak an example from SOMA in. I'd really like some feedback, as I'm wondering how useful this would be to other designers and modders, and am thinking of putting it on Gamasutra later. Also, if you think I happen to be wrong about something or can find counter-examples, let me know! I want this thing to be rock solid. Thanks! |
