Stuck at cave part (spoilers) - eskrow - 10-17-2015
I'm at the underwater part where I follow the robot with the lights and it gets eaten, then you're led to a green cave. Well, I died after leaving part of the cave, and it respawns me at the robot garage, but the robot is gone. I can't get back to the cave because I keep dying when trying to run there from the garage (and there's no indication where it is).

After the robot is eaten, you don't need it anymore. I remember I died closely after as well but got respawned next to a green lamppost by that "creature" that's following Simon. Either way, have you tried loading a slightly older save game before activating the robot-guide for the first time? It's like a 3 minute re-play, nothing major.
