Tried to recreate one of my favorite pre-release screenshots.

I love your screenshots Nautilus, very professional, do you use a noclip command in the levels to take some of them?

RE: SOMA Screenshot Thread - A.M Team - 11-27-2015

If you click F7 in SOMA's Dev batch file, you can enter a 'spectator cam' which is exactly like a No Clip Command.

And I think these pictures were shot in 5 or 6K, so, yeah.

RE: SOMA Screenshot Thread - Mudbill - 11-28-2015

If I remember correctly, it's not exactly like noclip, because it freezes the scene, at least in the sense of how it is rendered. Though, I might be mistaking it for another feature, but I believe Steve Redmond showed this in a video?

Regardless, this isn't the thread to discuss that so I won't go any further. Carry on with them sexy screenies ;P

RE: SOMA Screenshot Thread - Nautilus - 11-28-2015

Thanks SlackerinDeNile. Smile And TheDoctorPoo is exactly right on both accounts. These are taken between 5-6k and i used the built in free camera (im sooo thankful they put that in) that you can enable in the debug menu.

Mudbill, luckily theres a separate option to pause time in the debug menu as well (which was crucial for some the screenshots). Carrying on 3..2..1.. Big Grin

Wtf happened to Sarah? Did WAU turn her into another cyber zombie and she just walked off? Tongue

RE: SOMA Screenshot Thread - Nautilus - 11-30-2015

lol Maybe she was just a hallucination of Simon's. :o I thought the chair being empty, with the Wau's tentacles closing in on the Ark, would make an eerie image. Especially with her being the last person alive and all. Now that there's no one in the seat, there's truly no one left. To get the shot, i just paused time and then no-clipped straight there as soon as i entered the base hoping the game wouldn't load her in and luckily, it didn't.
