Game Crash at Create Profile - Printable Version

Game Crash at Create Profile - sunitizer - 10-31-2015

So I remember being able to play this game on the same computer a few years ago. For some reason, after installing it again on steam, it crashes after you enter name of profile and hit Create. If I try to run it again it just crashes at the loading screen right before this.

I am using AMD Radeon HD 5700 Series and Windows 10 64-bit. I went on the AMD site and the driver is up to date. I also tried running the game in the lowest graphics options but it still crashes.

Try running the game in Administrator mode. The game may be trying to create a profile, but does not have permissions to do so. Running with administrative permissions should be able to get past this if that is the error.

How can I run the game in administrator mode on steam? Is there an option on steam I can set?

Okay I tried to open the local folder and running Amnesia.exe as administrator but it still crashes at the same place.

Set "defaults" at the game launcher and try to launch it again. A 640x480 resolution should not be set for AMD 5700 series cards.
