Edited Enemy Crashing Game - Danarogon AP - 11-17-2015 Hello, This is probably not the right place to report this bug, but I thought that If I put it here it will get a bit more exposure and hopefully be solved before any other modders come across this problem as well. I've recently made an edited deep-sea diver monster entity file where it has a new "socket" attached to it's head bone. I've made this so that the enemy could have an attached entity to it's "face", for example, a mask and walk around with it. At first it seemed to have worked perfectly. However, as soon as the edited monster attacks me, instead of having the sequence of it "eating" the camera, the game simply crashes. This appears to occur even without an attached entity. If it helps, you can download the entity file here: https://sta.sh/01k57d5e0zy5 though I personally think the problem has more to do with the engine itself (or more specifically, how this specific enemy was written) rather than my .ent file. Please let me know if you identify the problem. RE: Edited Enemy Crashing Game - Mudbill - 11-17-2015 If you're looking for modders' help on custom content, the correct forum would be the Technical Support under User Created Content. https://www.frictionalgames.com/forum/forum-80.html Edit: I see you already put it there. I guess this thread should be deleted then. RE: Edited Enemy Crashing Game - Romulator - 11-18-2015 Yep. Abion47 answered your question in your other thread with the same issue here: https://www.frictionalgames.com/forum/thread-31703.html I did notice that you had multiple threads for the same issue but I did not delete them for the moment at the result that one was not seen. Since there is an answer in the other thread, and is also in the correct spot, I'll be closing this. |
