IMPOSSIBLE GEOMETRY?

Don't forget your bag, Daniel.

Geez, Didn't know Outlast was really that bad.

Let's see how they fare, shall we?

Evil German Experiments - We are in Prussia after all. Or perhaps that would be Evil Experiments in Germany. Does Alex count as a German? He's been there for a while, member of the Order...hmm.
Battery Mechanics - Lantern in Amnesia
Bad AI Chase Scenes - I want to tick this because the monsters are not that great with corners.
Obvious Blood Trail - Wine trail mind you, let's call it Obvious Liquid Trail
"What was that noise?" - "What was that" - Daniel
Document Collection - Oh, notes.
Sewer Level - Uh huh, in both.
Architects Not Included - Unsure what this means. I guess it is refering to the layout of levels, which I find odd in Amnesia but more logical in SOMA.
Fix The Generator - Elevator fixing anyone? Insufficient power to open x-door anyone?
Loud=Scary - The Shadow, Ross(?)
Corpse Pile - Morgue
Plot Entirely in text - I mean there are a lot of diaries from Daniel which explain the backstory of why he's there and some of what he did in the castle. Then there's the notes from Agrippa and Alex. How's this different from Document collection?

Funny times, your game is being judged by a random picture found on the internet. Just because it contains a pile of corpses, battery mechanic, and documents, it means it's shit. Sure, these are highly overused mechanics. But there's also the other side of the coin. Many games use the same mechanics, but at the same time show creativity and many new ideas. Amnesia, which contains most of the stuff listed on that picture surely follows the overused standards, but as I said - there's the other side of the coin as well. The atmosphere, the frightening horror elements, the innovative story - telling, the design - no hud, just pure, clean screen letting player to throw himself into the abyss of darkness.

Oh. Yeah. Here's a task for somebody who's bored. Find at least one game where none of these elements appear.

+Slanderous

I'd say it's worse for a horror game to have a terrible flashlight or it being too dark than there being a sewer level.

Okay, I have found a horror game that debatably does note feature any of elements appear above. Do you really wanna know it? It might shock you.

Loud = scary. Disqualified.

Damn It. Well it was close.

Also, I'd say FNaF ticks these too:
"What was that noise?" - Moaning noise before jumpscare, movement, kitchen.
"Plot Entirely In Text" - Image
"Stock Horror Screams" - The jumpscare sound.

I would've counted evil corporation, but Fazbear Entertainment is stupid more than anything.

I think "what the hell is that noise" has to be actual dialogue said by the player character. I don't think all of fnaf story is all told in text,a lot of it is quite visual and let's not forget the phone calls. I would tick stock screams but it a more obscure stock sound than you average Wilhems. I was thinking of putting down fazbear enter. but they really never did anything evil in purpose,they were stupid,really stupid.

RE: Bad Horror Game Bingo - Sleepbug - 11-23-2015

I'm referring to the first FNaF, which only revealed the deeper lore through the newspaper clippings, so I think Plot Entirely in Text still counts.

I agree with everything else you said though.
