i like sleep party people's older stuff a lot better than their newest album actually, i just feel like it captured this really mesmerizing dreamy and mysterious atmosphere on it and then on their new one they kind of dropped that for more poppy synth based songs. they're still good and making those too, but they kinda lost what made them so special ya know
