We are happy to announce that Amnesia: The Dark Descent will be released in Russia and Eastern Europe thanks to 1C-SoftClub/Snowball. Amnesia will be released under the title Амнезия. Призрак прошлого and it's Russian home can be found here.
Snowball has previously published and localized all the Penumbra games in Russia. We are confident that Amnesia could not be in better hands, as the localization of Penumbra Black Plague got awarded "localization of the year" in Russia.
1C-SoftClub and Snowball has cooperated for several years with publishing and distribution of titles. Last week a merger of the two was announced, integrating Snowball into 1C-SoftClub. We are confident that this will be the best possible solution for Amnesia in Russia and we are excited to do our part in delivering the best horror gaming experience possible.

Cool! Good to hear you're making progress on the publishing side of things! Now focus on the American publisher, so that I may get the CD in my hands as soon as possible. I mean, that's the whole reason you're making games right? To make ME happy?

you know, I don't think it's a good idea to continue connection with 1C as translator - translation of Penumbra series was terrible...

Jd Smooth, I am not lying, transletion and localization of 1C is worser and worse every year. Noviy Disc localized Overture first, and this localization was the best of all
