C# or C++ for C# based software? - Setlec - 05-14-2010 A small poll to know if you guys want to port the MapEditor, ParticleViewer, HplHelper and ParticleEditor src code from c# to c++? I'm really bad with C#, tbh! RE: C# or C++ for C# based software? - morris - 05-14-2010 I have a different reason, support for C# in my platform is at least tricky (and certainly nonexistent), so C++ would be really, really, nice. RE: C# or C++ for C# based software? - Urkle - 05-14-2010 Has anyone tried it under "Mono"?? RE: C# or C++ for C# based software? - Thomas - 05-14-2010 Just wanna add that these programs are not that crucial, although the help out quite a bit at times (when creating assets). It is just basically programs for editing XML files though so should be simple to rewrite from scratch. The MapEditor is a 2D editor so it is not very fancy or useful unless u wanna make a 2D game made up of tiles RE: C# or C++ for C# based software? - Yuhaney - 05-14-2010 (05-14-2010, 09:22 PM)Thomas Wrote: The MapEditor is a 2D editor so it is not very fancy or useful unless u wanna make a 2D game made up of tiles Reminds me from the Fiend's map editor. |
