Long time reader, first time posting.
I pre-ordered Amnesia a while ago and just today I thought I'd go to https://shelf.frictionalgames.com and see what it told me.
I entered the correct details and it showed me my purchase and it had a release date of: Release date 8th September 2010.
Is this the release date of just a number waiting to be updated.
Steam is telling me it's going to be released sometime in August. just looking for some confirmation.

Frictional Games, the best you can do is to let the retail game release on amazon for example. The Amnesia DVD will be the best object I will be hold in my hands this year (I'll hope it).
It can costs 49.99 € I want to buy it.
Please fix all bugs and optimize the game to release it "when it's done".
I have red that there is material you have no time for built it in. Thats bad to hear.

Yes i also want the DVD version. I think they shoud make more of it istead of jus selling it over the internet

They are a super low budget independent developer, digital releases will make them the most money per sale, they have to enter into deals with evil distributors for retail copies, which they get far less money per copy from.
That said, I also desire a retail copy. I purchased Penumbra Collection digitally and then bought the retail copy as well.
