eXperience112 aka The Experiment - Felix Atagong - 07-20-2010

Anybody has tried the above game? The atmosphere and especially the sound effects and music remind me a lot of Penumbra. It is more a puzzle game with a few horror elements. You are located on a ship where apparently some (secret military) experiments have taken place.

I found it recently on a magazine cd but unfortunately the game gives Win7 errors after a while, so I can't go on playing.

I've tried it but my computer at the time wasn't really powerful enough to use more than one window at a time in the game. So I didn't bother playing it for long, but the concept is really interesting... in fact, I think I'll add it to my list of games to play again now that I've gotten a better computer. Now I just have to find a place that sells it. Tongue

I played the demo a few years ago, it was a very interesting game, though I had the same problem as nofsky, my computer really sucked back then. I don't think I'll be playing the full version though since I didn't really enjoy the game, I just thought the concept was rather fascinating.

Yeah, I reviewed the game recently at: Experiment succesful, patient dead.

The bottom line is that exploring the ship is quite fun, lots of corridors, lots of little rooms, a few dead bodies here and there, some good puzzles...

After all puzzles in the ship have been solved the story goes to an underground alien world with tacky graphics, even more tacky aliens and lame puzzles...

I finished that bit with a walkthrough in front of me, just to finish it as quick as possible...
