Freezing And Stuttering Problems - tipadomba - 02-06-2016
I have problems with the game freezing. Sometimes it freezes for just a second or two and other times it will freeze completely and crash.
This seems to happen when the game loads new areas, but i could be wrong on this.
I've read your troubleshooting guides and nothing has helped, and my drivers are recently installed and has worked fine with everything else, i don't have trouble starting the game or FPS problems.

Perform a steam file integrity check. Make sure it's not installed on a very old (slow) hard drive.

When i try to do a integrity check on steam the button is just greyed out so i can't run it. And the hard drive isn't very old.. Depens on what you mean with old? It's a few years but has no problem with any other of the newest games.

It's not normal for the Steam file integrity option to not be available. Something is wrong with the Steam installation in such a case.
