It simply is, everyone will rush to try it at the best given moment, midnight.

Creates the best experience. Now we have to wait until daytime tomorrow. Sad

Because we would like to sleep and not worry about any of the things that can go wrong when a game is released to the masses. So better to release the game when we are awake and peachy, ready to assist and fix any issues there might be!

I don't think they want to release it midnight and then donb't provide any support because they are sleeping.

*edit*
Exactly.

For a horror game developer you seem to be pretty frightened of the night, wanting to sleep all the way through it. :p

Well, i'm in a good situation, as i have next two days free... I'll wait till the evening of 8th and then... PLAY all night. Evil plan is evil, eh?
I can't remember, when i was really scared while playing a game (Except for Penumbra)... Maybe with Silent Hill 2 a bit, maybe Alone in the Dark, but this experience is much deeper for me. That's why i'm really looking forward to Amnesia and future FG projects.

p.s. Yes, i was reading some Lovecraft in the past.
