Activated on Steam. Is this agreement thing a mistake? - NeatNit - 09-08-2010 "The Software may be loaded onto no more than one computer at a time." What the hell? Isn't the point of Steam to be able to download and play on as many computers as you like, as long as it's not being played at the same time? RE: Activated on Steam. Say hello to Steam's DRM. :p You can be logged in on only one PC at the same time. RE: Activated on Steam. Best drm around imho Never had a problem with steam, and i have more than 100 games on my account RE: Activated on Steam. Is this agreement thing a mistake? - NeatNit - 09-08-2010 I've been using Steam for years and am well aware what its limitations are. I don't really consider it as DRM. But when launching Amnesia for the first time, it shows a SEPERATE agreement, between Frictional Games and the user. Most games don't show such contracts. The quote is from there. By "loaded" I understand "installed", therefore "The Software may be installed onto no more than one computer at a time." To which I have to say, what. RE: Activated on Steam. Is this agreement thing a mistake? - KavazovAngel - 09-08-2010 ^ it is DRM. No internet connection = you are screwed. RE: Activated on Steam. Is this agreement thing a mistake? - NeatNit - 09-08-2010 That's really not the point. The point is a strange, unreasonable term in an agreement that shouldn't even be there in the first place. |
