If it failed to verify the integrity the you need to redownload the game as you have a corrupted installer.
I split the thread as your issue is different than than the one in the thread you posted to.

I had to download Novalis and thus worked to install ...
however, the game starts, I create the profile, and when I start the game is on the loading screen, and there just is loading ... loading ....
what would be the problem?
another thing ... it is loading forever ... closes himself to the game screen!

Please post the hpl.log found in home/.frictionalgames/amnesia
what drivers do you have for the video card? is it the proprietary from nivida? if so what version?
have you check the troubleshooting guide?
maybe it helps installing the game into another location, the current version has some permission issues if not installed into home, that are being worked on.

It worked now ... but .... I am having the following problem ...
I'm on the stage where I have to join the four chemicals etc ... when he leaves the lab hears a cry for women follow the cry that comes from the "File" but when I try to enter the room ... the game ends!

Where did you install the game? And are you running the 32bit or 64bit version of the game.

Can you possibly send me the latest saved game file (when in the lab) located in your ~/.frictionalgames/Amnesia/Main/[profilename] directory?
