Where is this elevator? I cNt find it any where and I know it's right in front of me. Thanks

In the back hall, face the fountain at the bottom of the stairs. Take a left and go through that door, elevator will be straight ahead and the machine room to the left of the elevator in the same room.

Have you checked all of the doors leading off of the Back Hall?

Have you checked the first floor to the left of the statue (when you're facing it)? If not, head there and just move straight ahead to the back of the hall. You can't miss it.

Well I think I found the elevator but it doesn't work... Was I suppose to put the rods some place else? Thanks again!!

How strange you haven't found the elevator, there's even a flashback talking about it...
