I'd like it if using the inventory and reading notes were in real-time. I don't want to feel safe when I'm reading a note in the middle of a hostile room!

An additional difficulty where tinderboxes and lantern oil are much harder to come by would be a welcome addition. I was never short of them at any point and knowing that I could light up a torch or pull out my lantern whenever I felt like it somewhat diminished the fear of the dark Sad
