Amnesia Intro bug: No Voice, only subtitles and footsteps - Michael59820 - 03-16-2016
I have recently a mod: http://www.moddb.com/mods/mane-six-mod/#5831230 that did some changes to the game itself, including model, sound and lan. I didn't like the changes so I uninstalled the mod way it told me to, now Daniel has no voice in the main game's intro. I've tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling it, but to no avail. Could their be a way to restore my files to the way the game was before this incident?

Are you sure you uninstalled it properly? Try again, and check to see if all files are deleted before installing it again in the same folder. Alternatively you can install it elsewhere. I'm asking because some files might be left over after uninstalling it, since the uninstaller might only remove the files it created itself.

What the mod does is replace the original files with mod files and the uninstaller is suppose to give back the files replaced, removing the mod files. Could there be a way I could do a total reinstall of the game? Like a sort of factory reset?

The mod has its own installer/uninstaller?
And why can't you do a total reset of the game, in the way I described?

I don't know. Anyway, I deleted all my Amnesia files before doing a full reinstall and the issue is now fixed. Thanks for the help anyway.
